Robert Mattern has appeared in a Masterclass on PBS; performed lead roles with Opera Companies in Europe and the USA.
Robert has starred Off-Broadway in NYC in both “Lover’s Rhapsody” and “Class Reunion” and originated the role of Captain Mayhew in “Moby Dick”.
He originated the role of Icarus in Arthur Cunningham’s last Jazz/Classical Oratorio “Suncatcher”; he was a guest soloist for “Missa Criolo” with the Westchester Symphony.
Robert Mattern has been a frequent special guest with Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway, both as a soloist and as a duet partner allowing Rita Harvey to show off her Classical Opera training!
